Desktop App Quickstart

1. Install

The Desktop App is a local install — no cloud dependency, works fully offline once activated. Grab the installer for your OS from the Desktop App download page, or go straight to a platform build:

• Windows (.exe)
• macOS (.dmg)
• Linux (.tar.gz)

2. Activate your license

On first launch, the Desktop App prompts for a license key. If your team already has a seat, an admin can invite you from Members & Seats — accepting the invite generates a redeemable key automatically. Paste it into the activation prompt to bind the license to this machine.

No team yet? Start a free trial to get a key of your own.

3. Run your first skill

Open AEP from the Desktop App's main window, pick a skill from the catalog (or write your own), and run it against a project directory. The first run walks you through connecting a project and choosing which skill to execute.
